Emails allege strife within ATF over Grassley probe

The Center for Public Integrity is reporting that emails reveal strife within the ATF over the Grassley probe

One of the ATF employees complained after meeting with [Sen. Charles] Grassley’s staff that he had been harassed, according to e-mails released under the Freedom of Information Act. The e-mails reveal discussions within the agency on how to respond to Grassley’s questions about the ATF operation, knows as “Fast and Furious.”

The emails were released in response to a FOIA request. Another email released is from Sen. Grassley’s chief counsel warning the ATF that they could be violating the Federal “Whistleblower” law with their behavior.
