Citizens of Montana are a step closer to Constitutional carry in their state. Montana would join Vermont, Alaska, Arizona, and (on July 1) Wyoming by no longer requiring law abiding citizens to obtain a by-your-leave from the State before exercising their God-given right to self defense.

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — A measure to allow people to carry a concealed gun without a permit from law enforcement is closer to becoming law.
The Senate endorsed the measure late Friday in a 29-21 vote. The gun-rights proposal has already cleared the House.
